This week we get a little nostalgic with poems by Karen Kelsay, Daniel Romo and Matthew Vetter. In the after party, we visit the Audubon Park Community Market and hear Poetry by Flashlight from Thomas Birchmire, whose poetry CDs and DVDs are available here. As always, find links to our contributors on the People page.

We also have a guest reader, novelist and podcaster Abigail Hilton, author of the podcast fantasy novels The Prophet of Panamindorah and The Guild of the Cowry Catchers.

Finally, if you are a poet, we would love to consider your poems for a future episode of Red Lion Square. See our guidelines on the Participate page. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, jump right in to the comments section.

Abbie is the best, and her podcast fantasy novels are nuts! Here's a bit of literary trivia sure to be a Jeopardy question in the future: Abigail Hilton and I met taking violin lessons in elementary school, but we weren't friends until junior high when we bonded over writing. Nerd friendship gold! :)

Nostalgia is a good thing, whether in subject matter (I'm old enough to remember drive-ins) or in Karen's timeless poetic forms.
